Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco Formed to Honor George W. Bush
03/31/2008 02:21 PM
From SFist and pointed
out to me from Zigwamo in my twitter group. Original
article here.
Looking to honor the forty-third President of the United States of America, George W. Bush, the recently formed Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco is looking to change the name of the Oceanside Wastewater Treatment Facility. It seems the group would like to rename the SF Zoo adjacent facility to the "George W Bush Sewage Plant."
Genius.

My Note on the Neighbor's Door

Welcome home. We are giving you two, brand new, 9-volt batteries. It is our hope that you will replace the battery currently in your smoke alarm with one of them, and then use the second in six months when it needs maintenance again. You may not be aware, but your smoke alarm started beeping at 7am on Wednesday and continues as I write this.
We hope you were able to relax during your vacation. We know how hard it is to sleep in a noisy environment.
Sincerely,
Your second floor neighbors.
